Vote NO on 2 in November!
This November, Massachusetts voters will decide whether to keep the affordable housing law, responsible for 80% of the affordable housing created in Massachusetts, outside the major cities, over the past decade.
Businesses of all sizes need the affordable housing law so their employees can afford to live here. Harvard economist Edward Glaeser has repeatedly noted that “the economy cannot grow without population growth and that population cannot grow without housing.” The high cost of housing in Massachusetts contributed to half the State’s out migration between 1997-2006, especially of young, educated households.
There are 12,000 units in the pipeline that would not get built if the affordable housing law is repealed in November. We would lose the construction jobs and related economic activity that goes with them, as well as homes for seniors and working families who could not otherwise afford to own homes in the communities where they’ve spent their lives.

Make sure you check it out today - and every day - for breaking news from Charlie's special place.
